So be in the pool a ton if you want your dog to like the water. Your dog seems to trust you and your judgement so just let the puppy know that there isn’t much to be afraid of. Also you might want to only let your dog swim when you are in the pool or near by so that your dog doesn’t get in and don’t know how to get back out

Here’s something, My dog hated the water as well. We went to a lake, and we started throwing some of his favourite toys in the shallow water. The next thing he did, he was swimming like a Olympics swimmer and loved it!

We have a puppy right now he is about 6 months old. it was hard when he went through the teething phase ! What we did was we got him a teething ring and anytime we let him out we had it with us sooo whenever he bit us we would say “no” and hand him his teething ring instead
